Love the afghan! And I love that you and your sister made it together, separately.

You and your sister appear to share a quality of concentration that's fun to see.
Who's your photographer?

Congratulations on getting your blog started!

The afghan is really pretty...care to share how you both made it...did you use different patters, what size squares...just curious...

I like that afghan. I like the variety of patterns and colors. I don't think I'm at the point where I can or want to make an afghan. But seeing yours, I think I'll add it to my list of future projects! Have a good day!

Sara - my sister and I laid down some ground rules like what yarn we'd use (Plymouth Encore Worsted) and what colors (mostly blues though we got a little bored!) And what size (we tried for 8x8 squares.) We also both had Jan Eaton's book 200 Knitted Blocks and made a number of the patterns from this. I also used the Barbara Walker books of patterns. We each did 20 squares (40 total) and then got together to put it together. It was a lot of fun!
