Another Stitching Meeting

I attended a meeting of the Metrostitchers at Cynthia's new apartment. Many pictures were taken including lots of objects in progress. Here are Joan's finishes:

Barbara's working on a Celtic Knot pattern:

Rosie has a huge sampler:

Here's Theresa's piece - which ended in a Happy Dance today!

And here is one of mine - the Eyelet Tee from with the addition of a knitted lace border.

I also had a happy dance - the Monthly Dishcloth Knit-Along, done in Knitpicks Shine Worsted, which I gave to Cynthia for a housewarming present. It makes a lovely soft washcloth.

And we mustn't forget the friendly Curry (who climbed shelves, looked at yarn with yearning, and ended up on the sofa for the attention he was due.

Wow! I just stopped by to look at the cloth, but your top is beautiful!

The lighthouse color is perfect. I've never used Shine before, so it's good to know it works.

About the top- thanks so much, Marci! I added the knitted lace border because it was *very* cropped. Now I'm making another one...

Thanks Carol! This was my first KAL and I had the yarn (I'd ordered it to see what it was like) and I will definitely use it again for washcloths. It knits up very soft. I used 1 size smaller needles than suggested for the KAL. Can you believe I thought it was a palm tree?

I agree, that knitted top is fantastic. I especiallylike the bottom. And I love all that needlework. You must have been having such a great time.
